Lake Manyara National Park
Nested between the Great Rift Valley escarpment and lakeManyara, this beautiful park is one of the Tanzania’s most scenic safari destinations. Lake Manyara National Park is famous for its lush landscape, tree – climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos painting the lake pink.
Though smaller in size, the park offers incredible variety of ecosystems – from dense forest and open grasslands to hot springs and shimmering alkaline lake. Every turn reveals something new and exciting for nature lovers and photography alike.
Lake Manyara is a true gem – a peaceful park that perfectly combines wildlife, birdlife, and natural beauty. You can spot elephants moving gracefully through the forest, hippos lounging in the water, and baboons playing along the road.
The park I also home to the famous tree – climbing lions, often seen resting on the branches of acacia tress its birdlife is spectacular – with more than 400 species, including pelicans, stocks, and thousands of flamingos covering the lake’s surface.
